Did you know that 80 percent of your health and fitness habits depend upon nutrition? As a Southlake fitness center, we’re not saying that you need to stop exercising. We’re big advocates for exercise, but all the fitness classes in the world will probably not yield the results you are looking for if you don’t change your diet.

Most of us grew up eating a certain way, which may not have been the best way. After all, typical American food often includes a significant amount of processed foods, refined sugars, and refined flour. In fact, some of the foods that you may think of as healthy are actually quite unhealthy. Anyone who ever went through a crash diet is familiar with the hunger pains and rapid weight loss, followed by binging and weight gain.

You may be wondering how you need to eat in order to lose weight and keep it off. At ProCore Fitness in Southlake, we offer the Balanced Habits Life® nutrition program. Keep reading below to learn more.

How Long Is This Program?

What makes the Balanced Habits Life Program so effective is that it is customized to your unique fitness goals.You can choose from a three, six, or twelve-month program depending upon your budget and your goals.

NOT a Diet

Make no mistakes about it; this is NOT a yo-yo diet. In fact, this isn’t even a diet at all. People often associate diets with hunger pains and deprivation. Instead, this nutrition program seeks to provide you with guidelines for eating properly for life.


What’s In the Program

When you sign up, you will receive a three-ring binder with a comprehensive roadmap designed to educate you on proper food nutrition. During your private appointments with your nutrition coach, you discuss the steps you need to take to optimize your nutrition. Our nutrition roadmap helps you understand how your metabolism works and how your eating habits affect it.

Together, you and your health coach will create portioned meal ideas using quick, easy recipes. You’ll also receive food lists and other tools so that you can learn how to create meals compatible with your goals and your lifestyle.

Do you enjoy going out to eat? This program provides helpful information on how to eat as well as how to order with confidence. You will also write in a daily food and exercise journal, which your health coach will monitor, holding you accountable for your eating habits. Your health coach will cheer you on when you’ve reached your goals and support you as you embark upon this transformation.
